PNC Bank, Atlanta Track Club Celebrate a Decade of Partnership

Milestone Recognized at 2025 PNC Atlanta 10 Miler, 5K, Mile & Dash

ATLANTA - Oct. 10, 2025 - Atlanta Track Club and PNC Bank are celebrating 10 years of partnership on the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K, a cornerstone of the Club's fall event calendar. The milestone will be recognized on race weekend, Oct. 18 and 19, with branded experiences, giveaways and the third annual PNC Atlanta Mile & Dash, which returns as a free event for all children, thanks to PNC Bank's continued support.

PNC Bank has supported the Club's mission to create a more active and healthy Atlanta since 2013, expanding that relationship in 2016 to include naming rights for the popular race. PNC Bank's continued commitment has helped expand access to running and walking events for people of all ages and abilities through a mix of different races through the weekend.

"Partnerships allow us to bring meaningful, accessible running experiences to the Atlanta community," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club. "Over the past decade, PNC Bank has invested in our mission and helped grow the 10 Miler into an Atlanta fall tradition that expands opportunities for youth and families to get active. Their commitment will have a lasting impact across the city."

The PNC Atlanta Mile & Dash, to be held Saturday, Oct. 18, features a one-mile race for children ages 6-14 and a 50-meter dash for children 6 and under. Local vendors and volunteers will provide a festival-like experience, with games and art activities for all participants to enjoy. Introduced in 2023, the event is free to all participants through PNC Bank's sponsorship and annually reaches capacity, highlighting the strong demand for accessible youth running events. That tradition continues in 2025, with all participants receiving a commemorative adidas bookbag and finisher's medal.

"PNC is honored to celebrate a decade of partnership with Atlanta Track Club and to continue investing in events that bring families together and promote physical, as well as financial, wellness," said Samantha Jones, PNC regional president for Georgia. "We're especially proud to support the Mile & Dash, an event that introduces young runners to the joy of the sport and encourages healthy habits that can last a lifetime."

The celebration continues Sunday, Oct. 19, with the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K. All participants will receive a long-sleeve adidas shirt and finisher's medal.

Since its inception, the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K has become one of the most anticipated races of the fall. One of the largest and only races of its distance in the Southeast, the 10 Miler has sold out in each of the last two years, a reflection of its increasing popularity among both competitive and recreational runners.

In recognition of the partnership's anniversary, PNC Bank is offering a new Rest and Recovery Lounge at this year's event, providing a place for PNC customers to relax and recharge on race day, with exclusive access to snacks and beverages, massage tables and more.

The 5K will also feature the 2025 USATF Masters 5K Championships, drawing top runners ages 40 and older to compete for national titles and a $7,500+ prize purse. It will be the seventh time Atlanta Track Club has hosted the event, continuing its tradition of supporting masters competition at the highest level.

To be included in the USATF Masters 5K Championship portion of the PNC Atlanta 5K, athletes must register and declare eligibility through USATF.org. For more information or to register, visit the USATF event page here.

Additional race-day activations and announcements will be shared in the lead-up to the event. For more information and to register for the race, visit Atlanta Track Club's website here.
