Peachtree Road Race Registration, Growth & Club Updates Announced at Atlanta Track Club Town Hall
At Thursday night's annual town hall event, Atlanta Track Club announced registration timelines for the 57th Running of the Peachtree Road Race, a new theme and early plans for the 250th anniversary of America and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Following a group run as part of the weekly Beltline Run Club, attendees gathered at SweetWater Brewing for the event. Dr. Aisha Wright-Burke, Atlanta Track Club board chair, opened the meeting by introducing two new board members and five re-elected members.
Diana Carter, Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Emory University, and Sandy Lam, a Senior Product Manager at The Home Depot, joined the board with experience in governance and community engagement. Returning for another term is Dr. Aisha Wright-Burke, David Wilkes, Josh Weinrobe, Katherine Stanfill and Michael Davis, completing a 22-member roster.
Atlanta Track Club CEO Rich Kenah delivered the state of the club, highlighting record participation in 2025 across youth, adult and membership programs. The club saw participation in youth programs grow, event sizes increase by 12.4 percent, several races and In‑Training powered by adidas programs reach capacity, and overall membership rise by 17 percent.
With growth in mind, Kenah outlined strategies to support expansion, including enhanced innovation and continued adherence to its strategic plan.
As for the Peachtree Road Race, Natalie Cabanas, Director of Marketing & Communications at Atlanta Track Club, outlined a new theme for this year's Fourth of July tradition: Peachtree Unites.
"The Peachtree has always been where Atlanta comes together. But this year, it's where the world meets us," said Cabanas. "With the World Cup on the horizon and the 250th anniversary of our country, Peachtree Unites is more than a theme, it's a celebration of everything running makes possible when we come together."
On March 18, Peachtree registration will open, starting with Charity Wave Entries supporting Atlanta Track Club Foundation, and sponsor employee registration. General lottery and member registration will open on April 1. Atlanta Track Club members can register during this time and receive guaranteed entry at the lowest price. Non-members will be entered into a lottery and be notified of acceptance or rejection in early May.
Atlanta Track Club also announced the 2026 Peachtree T-shirt Design Contest will accept submissions from January 16 through February 20. The contest is now open to submissions—learn more here.
