Atlanta Track Club Surpasses Last Year’s Registration for 2025 AJC Peachtree Road Race
ATLANTA - With more than 50,000 participants already registered, Atlanta Track Club has officially exceeded last year's total for the 56th Running of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. This year's event is on track to welcome more than 52,000 participants, making it the largest Peachtree since the 50th Running in 2019. That marks a 5 percent increase in registrants over 2024, a strong indicator of the race's continued momentum and legacy as one of the city's most iconic traditions and the world's largest 10K. The organization is reminding runners, spectators, and neighbors that the final registration deadline is tomorrow, June 27. Detailed guest maps, road closures, and access plans are now available to help everyone prepare for a safe and memorable Fourth of July weekend.
"This year's Peachtree is shaping up to be one of the most exciting, largest, and well-attended in recent memory," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club and Race Director of the Peachtree. "Whether you're running, spectating, or supporting a loved one, now is the time to register, review your route, and get ready for an unforgettable celebration of community, movement, and Atlanta pride."

"Oh Say Can You Sing" Winners Announced
Atlanta Track Club and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution are proud to announce the 2025 winners of the annual "Oh Say Can You Sing" National Anthem Contest:
- Laura Martin, 18, will perform the national anthem and "God Bless America" before more than 50,000 runners on July 4. A proud alum of Commerce High School, Laura has been singing since childhood and has performed at talent shows, school musicals, and her local church. Most recently, she wowed audiences with her rendition of the national anthem at the 97th Georgia FFA State Convention.
- Violet Bove, 14, will perform the anthem ahead of the Chick-fil-A Peachtree Junior on July 3. A student at Fideles Christian School, Violet has been singing since she could speak and has starred in several school musicals. She also regularly performs at her school chapel and has previously sung the anthem for the Gwinnett Stripers, making her no stranger to big crowds.

Both winners were selected through public vote and bring years of performance experience to the Peachtree stage. "This contest is a beautiful tradition that amplifies local talent and the meaning behind race day," said Kenah. "Laura and Violet truly represent the passion and pride that make the Peachtree so special."
